The Sixth APEC Automotive Dialogue was held on 10-11 June, 2004 in Beijing. More than 150 delegates of 12 APEC member states for government and business circle from Australia, China, Indonesia, Japan, Korea, Malaysia, Mexico, Philippines, Singapore, China Taipei, Thailand and USA were present at the meeting.
During the two days’ meeting, representatives conducted in-depth communication on Standardization of Auto Trade under APEC Framework; Policy of customs clearance; IPR protection; Environment protection; Policy of place of origin and new technology.
