On June 16th, 2008 the Russian Business Day of the 19th China Harbin International Economics and Trade Fair was held in Harbin, which is sponsored by Ministry of Commerce of China, Heilongjiang People’s Government and Ministry of Economic Development of Russia. Within the framework of the Russian Business Day, special seminars were conducted covering areas of labor cooperation, construction material, project promotion and economic development zone cooperation of the two countries. Besides, exchange meeting between enterprises of same industry were held for delegates from both countries. Further more, various colorful investment attraction and business promotion activities were also presented. More than 10 states and regions from Russian Federation attended the Russian Business Day, spanning from timber deep processing, food processing, real estate development to transportation, construction materials and finance.

This Russian Business Day has greatly enhanced the concrete cooperation of both countries in fields of trade, investment and economic cooperation in a wide scope.
