CAREC Seminar on Trade Development of Regional Agricultural Products in Central Asia, co-sponsored by the Ministry of Commerce and Asia Development Bank, was held on June 17-18, 2008, in Urumqi, XUAR. Around 50 participants from member governments and business sectors attended the seminar, and discussed issues on traded-related policies, inspection and quarantine and tariff.
