The 20th China-US Joint Commission on Commerce and Trade was held on 29th in Hangzhou. Vice Primier Wang Qishan along with the Commerce Secretary Gary Locke and Trade Representative Ron Kirk co-chaired the meeting. The US Agriculture Secretary Thomas Vilsack and Ambassador to China Jon Huntsman attended the meeting. China Minister of Commerce Chen Deming, Minister of Agriculture Sun Zhengcai, Minister of AQSIQ Wang Yong, Chairman of NDRC& Administrator of NEA Zhang Guobao, as well as representatives from 17 authorities like MFA, MOST, MIIT also attended the meeting. China and US exchanged views on common concerned issues during the meeting and signed cooperation contracts in certain fields afterwards.
